A woman with hermorrhagic ascites
A female patient with hemorrhagic ascites, due to rupture of a pancreatic pseudocyst, is described. Hidden alcoholism was the cause of chronic pancreatitis. The patient was successfully treated by transgastric puncture (under EUS control) and insertion of a pig tail catheter into the cystogastrostomy.
