Abstract :
Trop peu connu des théologiens et des communautés chrétiennes, l'accord oecuménique Guidelines for Admission to the Eucharist Between the Chaldean Church and the Assyrian Church of the East (20 octobre 2001) n'en est pas moins significatif au plan ecclésiologique, liturgique et dogmatique. Il invite à accueillir les différences légitimes et suggère aux catholiques occidentaux de revisiter la théologie médiévale de l'eucharistie.

Although little known among theologians and Christian communities, the ecumenical agreement Guidelines for Admission to the Eucharist Between the Chaldean Church and the Assyrian Church of the East (20th October 2001) is nonetheless significant on an ecclesiological, liturgical and dogmatic level. It proposes openness towards legitimate differences and suggests that Western Catholics revisit mediaeval theology of the Eucharist.
