Ultrasound diagnosis of cervical varices in early pregnancy

Nearly all cases present with heavy blood loss during pregnancy. Often, an urgent Caesarean section is required. In our cases, conservative measures were sufficient to prevent bleeding and to resolve the varices around 20 and 28 weeks of gestation.
